Hello world, or those of you that may stumble across this page. This is the birth of my blog!
About Me?
I’m a 25 year old sports fan. I grew up on Long Island and was a glutton for punishment from an early age. The consequence, I rebelled against my dad, and instead of being a Yankees, Rangers, Jets, and Knicks fan and having seen multiple championships in my life time; I chose the Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Islanders and have seen 0 championships as a result. Notice, I kept the Jets because, why rebel on the one team my dad rooted for that sucks! Currently, I’m living in beautiful San Diego, California. Therefore since the majority of my life has been spent in So Cal and NY the majority of my early posts will be very NY and So Cal centric, but hopefully I can change that soon.

Why Blog About Stadiums?
I’ve wanted to start a sports blog for a long time, but didn’t quite know how to get started. There are tons of great blogs dedicated to covering the teams that I follow, (Metsblog, Lighthouse Hockey, Jetsblog, Islanderspointblank) which I could neither compete with nor offer the quality in-depth analysis they offer their readers. So I decided on stadiums. I love attending sporting events, don’t care what sport, where, or even whose playing. I just love being there. One of the aspects that I enjoy most is the differing experiences that you get at different stadiums. Whether it’s the food, music, people, team, there is something unique about each stadium you visit. One of the coolest feelings in the world (for me anyway) is going to a new stadium and experiencing the “feel” of that stadium. Each city, each team, each sport, has different types of fans. The experience you get at a stadium in New York is completely different from the experience you will get in San Diego. Aside from my love of sports, these differences are something that I find fascinating.
So I’ve started this blog to chronicle my experiences each time I visit a new stadium. I’ll also use it as my soapbox to talk about a variety of sports issues, but I’ll try my best to keep it focused on stadium news (relocation, renovations, projects etc.). To date, I haven’t visited a ton of stadiums maybe 15-20, and at the moment I don’t have the budget to make this a year where I’ll knock off a ton more (but “hey you never know”). That’s why I hope this also becomes a place where sports fans can come and talk about different stadiums they’ve been to. Who knows, maybe some day it can become a “Trip Advisor” for sports fans looking to visit different places. I hope you’ll stay with me as I blog about places I go, the places I’ve already visited and ones where I would love to go.
And on that note, here, we go…..
